Powder bottle device
To improve the safety and efficiency of loading powder into additive manufacturing machines, I designed a custom fixture in Siemens NX that securely latches onto powder bottles, allowing them to be lifted and loaded using a mechanical hoist. I conducted static simulations of the fixture using Ntop to validate its structural integrity under load. The design was prototyped using SLA 3D printing and refined through multiple iterations to ensure proper fit and function. After successful testing with the additive manufacturing team and receiving final approval, I had the final design CNC machined for operational use.
